Easy Refried Bean Mexican Nacho Recipe

The essence of nachos is simple fare that's easy to put together and a lot of fun to eat. This simple Mexican nacho recipe offers a classic experience of the original nachos from the 1940's.

But have fun with it! Add and take away whatever you like. Or, for a crazy-delicious nacho experience, go nuts and make the ultimate nachos recipe below.

Ingredients:
14 ounces thick corn tortilla chips
8 ounces cheddar cheese, grated
2 1/2 cups refried beans
2 ounces sliced pickled jalapeño peppers
1/2 cup salsa
1/4 cup guacamole
1/4 cup cilantro
1/2 cup sour cream
1/3 cup sliced green onion

Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking dish with aluminum foil and arrange a layer of tortilla chips in the bottom.

2. Spread the refried beans over the chips or drop in small dollops evenly spaced over the chips. Sprinkle the cheese and jalapeño over the top. Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese melts.

3. Sprinkle cilantro and onion over the top and serve warm with dollops of salsa, guacamole and sour cream.
