Goat Cheese Stuffed Figs with Balsamic

One of my favorite romantic finger foods for any love feast is this romantic recipe for stuffed figs. They're flavorful and delicious... but light enough that you won't feel bloated and weighted down-- which is nice when it comes time for "dessert."

These figgy little romantic finger foods are easy to assemble, but create a serious "wow" factor with the combination of flavors.

12 fresh figs, halved
4 oz. herbed goat cheese
24 whole almonds
1 tbs. orange blossom honey
2 tsp. aged balsamic vinegar

Directions: 1.Put each fig half face up on a baking sheet. Fill these with about 1/2 tsp. goat cheese, then nest an almond therein.

2. Turn your oven broiler to high. Once its ready place the sheet of figs inside for about 2 - 3 minutes.

3. Remove and cool, moving the figs to a pretty serving plate. Then pour a little honey and vinegar over each.

4. Enjoy these while they're still warm.

Have fun with it: Feed each other, lovingly, slowly. Enjoy the flavors and the time that you are spending with each other. It's even better when you cook the romantic finger foods together! Enjoy a nice bottle of Pinot Grigio.
