"Green Goo" Nutritious Banana Smoothie

All natural, sugar free, nutritious, easy, and delicious? You couldn't find more of a fun, healthy kids snack anywhere. This recipe tastes just like a banana milkshake, and is cold and frosty... but is just made with wonderful natural banana and bone-healthy milk. How much better could this be?

I make this just as is, and it's always sweet enough for my kiddos. But if your kids want something a little sweeter, you can add a teaspoon of honey or two. Your choice! I also like to garnish this with a gummy worm or other funny treat... the kids love it!

Recipe serves 2 kids.

Ingredients:
1 banana, sliced and then frozen (unfrozen is also okay)
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1-3 ice cubes
Green food coloring, as needed

Instructions: 1. Place milk, banana, ice cubes, and vanilla in your blender. Blend until smooth. Add green food coloring and blend to mix.

2. Serve with a fun straw!

Suggestion: Want to add a little fiber and protein to this? This fun, healthy kids snack also tastes great with a spoonful of peanut butter and a small scoop of raw oats added! Or add a handful of spinach for a natural green color... the kids won't even be able to taste it!
