Hawaiian Yogurt Fruit Dip Recipe

Yogurt fruit dip recipes aren't hard to create. It?s about matching your tastes to the fruit that you want to eat. The tanginess in the yogurt is going to enhance the fruit and the ginger in the above recipes only makes things even better. Ginger is a natural flavor enhancer and adds warmth to the flavors that can?t be beat.

This fruit dip (made with yogurt, of course) is a great example. It's got wonderful, unusual flavors (almost a Hawaiian fruit dip flavor!), a fabulous texture, and it tastes divine. Adults will appreciate the touch of ginger, while kids will love the sweet tang of the pineapple.

This is only 30 calories per spoonful, and makes 3 cups of very flavorful dip.

Ingredients:
8 oz low fat cream cheese, softened
1 c. plain yogurt
1/4 c. dark honey
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
8 oz. crushed pineapple (drained)
Fruit, to dip, as needed

Directions: 1. Beat all your ingredients together except for the pineapple until they're well-creamed. Fold in pineapple.

2. Let it sit for an hour in the refrigerator for best texture. Use firm fruit to dip into this. Or leave out the pineapple, so that you can dip less firm fruit.
