Yogurt Orange Dream Fruit Dip Recipe

Now, there are a few recipes out there that aren't so waistline friendly. You'll see lots of yogurt fruit dip recipes with things like whipped cream, marshmallow fluff and pudding mix. The recipes are simple and the flavors are good, but the nutrition... not so much.

This recipe will give you similar kid-friendly flavors to other more fattening fruit dips made with yogurt and cream, but without all the added fat and overall badness. In fact, if you use low fat cream cheese and fat free whipped topping, this is a nicely low-calorie fruit dip recipe!

Ingredients:
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 c. vanilla yogurt
1/2 c. whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
2 tbsp. orange juice
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tbsp. confectioner's sugar

Directions: 1. For this recipe, you beat all the ingredients except for the whipped topping together.

2. Once those are mixed, fold in the whipped topping and chill.

Note: Again, it's all about the flavors that you want. You could add in a wide variety of fruit juices other than orange (try pomegranate or passion fruit) to change the flavor profile here. Or add some orange zest to up the freshness.
