Romantic Dessert: Chocolate Covered Strawberries

So far every one of the romantic finger foods on this menu has ingredients reputed to be an aphrodisiac. And since we're on a roll, let's just keep going! We need one more thing to make this night complete. We need something sweet... the most romantic finger food of all.

If you're serving Champagne, the perfect complement is chocolate covered strawberries. Don't worry, making them is really simple. The key? You have to prepare these a little earlier in the day (which means more time enjoying each other later)!

5 oz. good quality bittersweet chocolate, chopped
1 pt. fresh strawberries (stems on is best!)

Directions: 1. Wash your strawberries, then pat them dry, leaving the leaves on. Put the chocolate in a microwavable bowl.

2. Set the microwave on low and slowly melt the chocolate, stirring it regularly for a good texture.

3. Once it's fully melted, dip the strawberries one by one so they're covered about 2/3 of the way. Let these cool on a piece of waxed paper in the refrigerator.

Tip: To make them look fancier, melt some white chocolate separately and drizzle that over the top.
